Eminent scholars with a Key Opinion Leader role in the global biomedical engineering society joined the BME program’s Advisory Board. The members of our advisory board offer leadership assistance and advise, to improving our program’s curriculum, to establish and maintain links with both Academia and Industry and to develop organizational procedures and policies. Sept 2020: 40 top-level students admitted for the academic year 2020-2021. The class is quite interdisciplinary as it is composed of 7 Medical Doctors, 15 (integrated master) Engineers, 4 Physicist’s, 4 Biologists, 6 Material Scientists and 4 holding various degrees. The high level of the class is further evidenced by the fact that 3 students hold already a PhD degree and 7 students a MSc degree in different but relevant disciplines.
Sept 2020: The BME’s Interdepartmental Faculty Committee (IFC) granted 4 fellowships to an equal number of students, rewarding their excellence and top ranking in all entry evaluation criteria. Their average score was 92/100. Congratulations!
